About

ReSolve will help us learn how best to use digital math products to complement teacher-led instruction and accelerate 4th and 5th graders’ math learning. The study is being funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is being conducted by MDRC in collaboration with its partners at Digital Promise, Public Strategies, RAND, and Westat.

The study team will be working with two digital math products, Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready and Personalized Instruction and Renaissance Learning’s STAR Math and Freckle, which were selected through a competitive review process for their promise in addressing unfinished learning in math. Schools selected to participate in this study will be given free access to a cutting-edge adaptive digital math product and implementation support for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. Participation will allow your district to try a quality, cost-free digital math product to see if it works for you, while also contributing to critical learning at a national level about the most effective ways to help accelerate student math learning.
